VEF presents Venture Capital Outlook 2010 - Part I

Is the venture capital market poised to rebound? Are angels and VCs going to be more active? What can companies do to increase their chance of raising money? What creative financing strategies are emerging on both sides of the border? Vancouver Enterprise Forum presents VCs from both Canada and United States who get to the bottom of these questions and more. The evening is moderated by Andrew Lugsdin of BDC Venture Capital. Panellists include Tawfiq Arafat of JLA Partners / Blackberry Partners Fund, Ping Li of Accel Partners, Sandy Scott of Tandem Expansion Fund and Mike Walkinshaw of Chrysalix Venture Capital.

  1. Small Business owners are largely forgotten. Thats why I only focus on them. I have experience several members of my family file bankruptcy due to small business failures. I also I suffered through 2 destroyed businesses due to failure however, in my failings I have learned some of the secrets to success. (Who can say they know it all?)
